Established horticultural consulting firm in Northern California is seeking a full-time consultant. Soil and Plant Laboratory serves the nursery, greenhouse, agricultural and landscape industries. Consultant will provide technical assistance in the broad areas of soils and plant health to landscape architects, contractors, superintendents, growers, horticultural suppliers and homeowners. Major responsibilities include reviewing soil analysis data and preparing written reports customized for each client.

Applicant must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Applicant should have a strong background in soil science and familiarity with common turf culture and ornamental horticulture. BS or MS and minimum 4 years experience in Soil Science, Turf Science/Management or Ornamental Horticulture preferred.
